"It is suggested here that it is more beneficial to research the intentionality of teachers rather than their values. Values, for example 'dishonesty', can be understood through consequentialism to have no intrinsic worth. They are valued (or not) by educators who create and make sense of such principles from a basis of personal intentionality.
